Role description
As Topside Project Engineer you are responsible for the technical supervision of a subcontracted topsides process module. This includes interfacing with internal engineering disciplines and Supply Chain, and externally with the EPC subcontractor.
You will be responsible for:
- Focal point for interface between EPC module contractor and COMPANY engineering
- Coordinate review of documents as per responsibility matrix and contractual dates
- Involve and manage all internal stakeholders to ensure that EPC module contract is respected
- Typical Package Engineering responsibilities
Role requirements
COMPANY Schiedam is looking for candidates who have a BSc. or MSc. within any relevant Engineering discipline (e.g. Process, Mechanical, Piping, E&I, Structural). You have at least 10 years of Engineering experience, as well as international experience in multi-disciplinary projects.
Furthermore you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with EPC subcontracting
- Construction/site experience
- Team Management experience
- Experience with FPSO is preferred
- Broad knowledge of different offshore systems
- Willingness to travel (the position is based in Schiedam, but travel to Brazil may be required)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
